What do you love about where you live?
I live in Arkansas, for now, at least, and I have been a citizen of Arkansas for over eight years. However, I am by no means a city girl. I live out on 71 acres in the Ozark National Forest.
It’s beautiful here and out of our front french door windows of our living room there is a huge mountain. I also love the deer that I catch playing out in the pasture during springtime. Or a Doe with her fawn in the early sunset.
During hunting season, which starts in September, when we bate bear. I love catching the black bears on camera eating the chocolate syrup, donuts, and persimmon corn in a metal barrel that’s chained to a tree.
Sometimes, we catch raccoons eating of the barrel. Throughout the winter, the camera catches them growing fatter and fatter. They get so fat that you can watch a raccoon struggle with getting into the barrel. Sometimes, it even looked like they recruited a new skinner friend to the party to help them get to that tasty meal.
I also love the early spring when the butterflies come out and the wildflowers. I love photography, and they are my main subject.
So definitely nature and wildlife. Enjoying God’s beautiful creation he gave to mankind. That is most definitely my favorite thing about my home.
God Bless
